About the sculptures:
-
Disney artists chose the dance sequence in the Dwarf's cottage as a moment
which captured the essence of the characters' personalities. They had at
least eight (8) reasons for their choice. The first is Snow White's graceful
dancing movement which is ideal for animation sculpture. And the other seven
reasons are-well look for yourself!

Snow White and all seven (7) dwarfs were sculpted by Kent Melton. The
Dwarf's Hearth was sculpted by Patrick Romandy-Simmons.
Plussing:
-
Dopey holds a porcelain striking stick in one hand and an antique-looking
brushed gold cymbal by a leather cord in the other.
-
Dopey's ears are oversized, adding to his silly look.
-
Glass fly with crystal wings lands on Sleepy's ample nose as he plays a horn.
-
Sleepy's droopy eyelids emphasize his readiness to sleep.

Grumpy's organ is a two (2) piece set:

Organ is made of resin, it's intricately carved with woodland creatures-rabbits
support organ and race across front, squirrels fill each end.

Carved organ pipes resemble totems and feature frogs, owls, fish, rabbits
and a baby bird in its nest.

Grumpy is seated on the bellows for the pipe organ.
-
Spigot on Happy's keg is metal.
-
Doc wears miniature wire-rimmed glasses.
-
Doc's Musical Instrument: "Swanette," carved in the shape of a swan with
metal strings.

Sign Language: Doc's right hand signs "Love."

Buckles and buttons on each dwarf are sparkling gold.

About the sculpture:
-
Sold as a set with the miniature Heart Box, Deadly Intent is a must-have
scene completer to the 2002 Membership Gift Sculpture of Snow White.

Huntsman sculpted by Kent Melton and the Heart Box sculpted by Valerie Edwards.
